Brandon Kramer

FFGA Instructor

Brandon's passion for golf ignited at the tender age of 4 or 5, thanks to his grandfather, PGA Tour Professional Jimmy Powell. Jimmy enjoyed a successful career spanning over two decades on both the PGA and PGA Senior Tours, achieving multiple victories. Brandon also received guidance from his stepfather, Ron Kramer, who served as the Head Golf Professional at Los Serranos Country Club for many years. Ron is a distinguished player himself, having qualified for the LA Open at Riviera Country Club on several occasions and competing in the 2008 US Senior Open at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs.

From 2012 to 2014, Brandon honed his skills at the Professional Golfers Career College in Temecula, California. During his time there, he consistently ranked among the top 10 players in his class for the final three semesters and was honored with the Sportsmanship Award upon graduation.

After completing his studies at PGCC, Brandon began his professional journey at JC Golf, where he worked at Oaks North Golf Course in Rancho Bernardo. He taught an Intro to Golf class, led a Saturday Junior Clinic, and assisted with junior summer camps. During this period, he also excelled in the Players Ability Test for the PGA, finishing third at Woods Valley Golf Club.

Today, Brandon enjoys playing golf recreationally with friends and family while participating in the occasional Tuesday Skins Game at Los Serranos Country Club. He also shares his love for the game by teaching at the Fast Forward Golf Academy.
